This location need to be divided into two listings: the rooftop bar and the hotel. I went to the rooftop bar and it was great, and service was excellent. One caveat is that I only had beer. I didn’t try any mixed drinks.

Service, experience, food: excellent! Nice, cosy. Not 5 stars because Internet and Tv experience has to be fixed to work perfect, works.
El Encanto (the charm, or the enchanted) has a great rooftop bar and dinning area situated just across from the cathedral of Puebla. The view is good, but not outstanding. The church bell towers are an impressive site and should be beautiful at night. We came for breakfast. Most diners were downstairs in the dinning area off the reception. We came up to the sky bar area and were the only patrons. The coffee is priced by the cup. This contributes to the lost star. (Isn’t coffee a human right? ) My huevos al gusto were delicious but cold. My wife had the enchilada suizas which looked amazing, but they too were cold. Cold food in Mexico seems to be the norm, but still having my American pallet, I am always in search of the hot plate. Overall, this is a nice place for a quiet and relaxing breakfast. The beautiful hotel is directly located in front of the cathedral of Puebla's historic city center just crossing one street. The staff is welcoming and available to any questions at whichever time. We got a junior suite with view to the cathedral. The rooms are clean and spacious. The view of the rooftop bar is stunning. However we had some problems with closing the door (other people had the same problem) as it is an electronic lock. The friendly staff was however able to help us. Therefore all in all four stars.

I think this hotel is one of the best in Puebla. Well located. The hotel has a fantastic roof garden with fantastic views, specially at night. The rooms are great and the whole hotel has a modern colonial feel. A bit of an oxymoron, but the two themes gel well together. The price per night very reasonable. The food is good and the price ok.
A intimate place for a romantic dinner and a view. Server was not as attentive as we wanted him to be. Servers gave attention to only one party. The food was good. We had a plate of carne tampiqueña and my gf had a plate of pechuga with spaghetti . If the employees were attentive to each customer I would give it a 5.
